South Boats Special Projects is the world-leader in the design and manufacture of offshore wind farm service vessels.  It is the major supplier of specialist catamarans used to support the installation and construction phases of wind farm developments and the on-going operations and maintenance activities.

Based in Cowes on the Isle of Wight, the Company is now set for a period of major growth (in excess of 30% p.a.) as it looks to supply the future needs of the burgeoning UK and European offshore wind markets as well as other offshore markets around the world.

Latest Vacancies - Apprenticeships

South Boats is the world-leader in the design and manufacture of specialist offshore wind farm service vessels.
As part of our on-going investment in our future, we are delighted to be offering a number of apprenticeship
placements. The period of training will be for a minimum of four years and will involve working towards NVQ
and Technical qualifications as well as developing the skills and qualities required in an modern
manufacturing environment.

You will need to be highly motivated, reliable, have an aptitude for learning a wide range of knowledge and
skills, and capable of producing work to the required standards throughout the duration of the apprenticeship.
