Monday 30th January will see the ICENI DEFIANT 17m LS Wind Farm Service Vessel, recently delivered to Iceni Marine Services Ltd, moored at St. Katherine's Dock, Tower Bridge, London for an event attended by key personnel from the Offshore Wind Power industry. Those attending will be the main energy companies, Iceni Marine Services, South Boats Special Projects Limited, key suppliers, city banks and finance houses.

Blount Boats positioned for servicing U.S. offshore wind farm industry
Blount Boats, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has been appointed by South Boats Special Projects, Ltd., based at Cowes on the Isle of Wight, England to be the exclusive shipyard to manufacture U.S. flagged aluminum catamarans of South Boats designs for the U.S. wind farm industry. Blount Boats operates a shipyard in Warren, Rhode Island.

South Boats Special Projects Ltd. is pleased to announce the launch and commissioning of its 42nd offshore wind farm crew transfer vessel, ‘Porth Dafarch’. The vessel is a South Catamaran 16m and is the first of a three boat order from Turbine Transfers Ltd. to be delivered. This vessel complements the fifteen wind farm vessels already built for Turbine Transfers Ltd. by South Boats.
